Sliding Scale
Beyond This Point offers a limited number of sliding scale appointments. We will work with clients who are eligible for this option to determine a fee that works for them.
Beyond This Point is in-network with Aetna, Quest, Select Health, Carelon, and Lyra EAP in Colorado, and Medicare nationwide. We are also in-network with United/Optum and Anthem/Blue Cross for existing clients, but are not currently onboarding new clients through those plans. In some cases, we may accept new United Healthcare clients depending on plan type and availability—please inquire.
We offer private-pay sessions for those who prefer not to use insurance. Many clients choose this route for increased privacy, flexibility, and control over their care. Please note that we do not provide superbills for clients who choose not to use their benefits.
For clients with out-of-network coverage (e.g., Cigna, or PPO plans from insurers we’re not contracted with), we’re happy to provide superbills to support reimbursement. We can also generate monthly or weekly invoices upon request.
Beyond This Point accepts cash, check, debit, HSA, FSA, and all major credit cards.
If you have a change of plans and cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please provide a notice at least 48 hours in advance. If you miss your session without a notice, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychological services.
You have the right to ask for and receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
